NICOLE E. KAZMEIRCZAK, VIOLINIST (Music Education, SUNY Fredonia, 2022)

“Thank you for creating this course. It really has helped me heal so many of my performance wounds that I've never been able to work through in a healthy way. I feel like I've transformed as a performer and musician and even a person this semester because I was able to take this class. It's SO important for all musicians to understand these topics and how they are interwoven into our practices, and how to be a healthy functioning musician. Thank you so much for your time and energy into this course, I will never forget what I've learned, and I can't wait to help my students use these tools when I get further into the teaching field.”

AUDREY POTTER, VIOLINIST (Music Education, SUNY Fredonia, 2022)

"This is the most valuable class I have ever taken. It has marked a turning point in my abilities as a performer and a teacher. Dr. Avni gave me a toolbox for how to become in touch with myself, as well as a safe space to become comfortable with the unknowns and the nerves that are woven into performing. I share what I have learned in this class with all of my students in hopes that they too will be empowered as performers. I would not be the musician I am today without this wonderful experience! "
